Having joined Equity as a student soil sampler in 2006, Thomas quickly progressed to the position of Project Geologist. Following a brief sabbatical to complete his Exploration Geology MSc in South Africa, Thomas returned to the Equity team in a full-time capacity. Since undertaking the role of Senior Project Geologist, he continues to develop his geological and management skills on a range of deposit types on projects throughout the exploration life cycle.

Thomas brings a strong background in technical geology and project management to programs he is involved with and is committed to mentorship, volunteering and adding value to the clients, companies and communities he represents.

Significant Projects

Madsen project, ontario CANADA

Co-managed 85,000 m of exploration diamond drilling based out of the past-producing Madsen Mine, targeting orogenic Au mineralization in the Red Lake Mining District.

Mt Milligan Project, British Columbia CANADA

Managed 3,500 m of exploration diamond drilling over two field seasons based out of the Mt. Milligan Mine, targeting near-mine Cu-Au porphyry exploration targets.

Ball Creek Project, British Columbia, Canada

Supervised 4,100 m of diamond drilling and geophysical surveys targeting Au-Cu porphyry mineralization in the Golden Triangle mineral district.

Finlayson Project, Yukon, Canada

Co-managed consecutive regional exploration programs focussed on VMS mineralization in the Finlayson district, with work based out heli-supported fly camps and the Wolverine Mine.
