Oscar joined the Equity team in a full-time capacity in 2017, after making an impressive contribution to Equity field programs in 2016. Oscar is relied on for his strong technical skillset and ability to manage complex exploration programs. Prior to joining Equity, Oscar accrued eight years of progressive exploration experience including extensive mapping programs in BC, Yukon and Ontario along with drill programs in Canada and China.

With a background in remote, greenfield and pre-feasibility projects, Oscar focuses on the meaningful technical details, linking geological observations and theory to deposit-scale mineral potential and targeting.

Significant Projects

KZK project, yukon, Canada

Co-managed prefeasibility-level work program on a VMS deposit that has seen over 40,000 m of drilling (resource, exploration, geotechnical) and expenditures of over $20M to date.

FRASER GOLD Project, British Columbia, Canada

Phanerozoic orogenic gold project. Jointly planned and executed a three-drill program targeting poly-deformed gold-bearing quartz-carbonate veins based on surface mapping and oriented drill core.

red chris mine, british columbia, Canada

Jointly oversaw 6-8 drills, earthworks, and core facility to produce and log 70,000 m for resource definition and near-mine exploration at the Red Chris Au-Cu porphyry concurrent with active mining operations.
