After working for Equity as a Project Geologist in the summer of 2008, Eleanor was already regarded as a skilled and trusted geologist before returning to the team on a full-time basis in 2017. Through her 10+ years of industry experience, she has developed a unique skillset as a geological database specialist and GIS manager and is increasingly being relied on to manage global project portfolios.

As a seasoned Project Geologist with extensive field experience across a variety of deposit types, Eleanor works to maintain the highest standard of data analysis and management at Equity while effectively liaising with individual project teams and clients.

Significant Projects

B2 GOLD CORP, VARIOUS PROJECTS, GLOBAL

  • Responsible for producing technical quality plans, sections and levels to multiple gold projects with an emphasis on “mining” the data for relevant exploration information.
  • Organization and analysis of geological database and GIS files for dozens of global exploration projects.
  • Report compilation for technical and internal reporting.
  • Data interrogation and summary for project generation.

GOLD FIELDS CANADA EXPLORATION BV, VARIOUS PROJECTS, CANADA

  • Responsible for database administration of several contemporaneous projects including assay loading and data verification.
  • Continual monitoring of QAQC data from surface and drill programs including quality check actions and documentation.
  • Produced verified data which fed into grade estimation models and co-authored technical reports with procedure documentation and results analysis.
  • Managed the expenditures, reporting deadlines and expiration dates for all Gold Fields Canada’s more than 75,000 ha’s of tenure.
  • Liaised between laboratories, joint venture partners, and government representatives to facilitate business objectives.

TOODOGGONE PORPHYRY PROJECT. BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA

  • Prepared the logistical support to take the Toodoggone porphyry project from permit stage to assessment reporting.
  • Ensured that the project complied with all regulatory requirements, specifically the environmental and social responsibilities.
  • Onsite tasks included surface data management, mapping and interpretation, core logging, personnel management and direction of contractors.
  • Oversaw and mentored First Nations environmental monitors.

ANDREW BASE METAL PROPERTY, YUKON TERRITORY, CANADA

  • Held an integral role in a 24,000 m diamond drilling program on the Andrew vein-hosted Zn-Pb deposit by ensuring quality control and data collection practices.
  • Duties included data management, QAQC, geological interpretation and core logging.
  • Generated a geologically-domained solid model of the ore body for resource estimation.

HOPE BAY ARCHEAn GREENSTONE GOLD BELT, NUNAVUT TERRITORY, CANADA

  • Supervised a drill program including core logging, section interpretation and personnel.
  • Delivered weekly safety meetings for staff and engaged in the OHS committee.
  • Created geological models of the lithology and mineralization for resource estimation.
  • Completed annual report composition and target generation for future drill programs.
  • Revised a historical geological mineralization solid model based upon change of project scope and updated drill results.
