After joining Equity as Project Geologist in 2003, Darcy took on his current role of President in 2006. Darcy provides leadership and guidance covering all aspects of project planning and execution but also remains highly active in the field, ensuring geological fieldwork and technical deliverables are in line with corporate and client objectives.

In addition to his technical leadership, Darcy is responsible for fostering Equity’s values within the team and for promoting mentorship and a commitment to maintaining a vibrant and safety conscious workplace.

Significant Projects

BOULEVARD PROJECT, YUKON CANADA

Managed drilling, trenching and large regional reconnaissance program targeting gold mineralization in the White Gold District.

THORN PROJECT, BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA

Managed the project resulting in significant drill intersections of high-sulphidation vein mineralization and breccia pipe-hosted Ag-Au-Pb-Zn mineralization.

HOG RANCH, NEVADA USA

Conducted alteration mapping and core/RC drilling of a shallow-level epithermal project at a former producing mine.

KLONDYKE GOLD PROSPECT, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Determined relative timing of gold mineralization and regional tectonic significance of this Archaean orogenic lode-gold deposit.
