Cian joined Equity in 2020 as a Geologist and advanced to Project Geologist in 2021. His background in Ireland focused on Orogenic Au and SEDEX exploration in glaciated terrains, and he has brought this experience to Equity where he has furthered projects in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario and the Quesnel Trough of British Columbia.
His experience in glaciated terrains has demonstrated that an open mind in ore deposit and exploration theory, combined with systematic ground proofing of targets is vital to a project’s success. His time as the Curraghinalt mine rescue Captain has shown him that team collaboration and a reactive but decisive mindset is critical to achieving a projects objectives in time sensitive scenarios.

Managed the logistics and execution of reconnaissance mapping and till sampling in the Lake St Joseph Greenstone Belt.
kliyul project, british columbia, canada
Core logging duties in an early stage Porphry-Cu-Au program, and assisted remote fly camp construction and demobilization
DALRADIAN GOLD, CURRAGHINALT, IRELAND
Primary field geologist with multiple reported Au discoveries. Designed greenfield exploration programs and oversaw the training and management of field crews and contractors. Oversaw rig management in surface and underground environments.
