Joining Equity full time in 2013, Chris brings global experience in mineral exploration that spans from early to advanced-stage on world-class projects. He has honed a distinctive skill set in the effective management of complex resource definition and exploration projects, with significant experience on a number of deposit types that include iron ore, VMS and epithermal silver-gold.

Significant Projects

KZK Project, Yukon, Canada

Co-managed all aspects of this advanced-stage exploration program that included the discovery of an additional 4.2 Mt of high-grade polymetallic VMS mineralization.

homestake ridge project, british Columbia, Canada

Co-managed a multi-faceted program of exploration drilling, geological mapping, soil sampling and IP surveying to help define the different deposit styles on the property. This led to the discovery of a parallel zone of high-grade epithermal Ag mineralization.

Nimba Project, Guinea, West Africa

Managed all aspects of resource definition diamond drilling, including construction of the wireframe geological model, at the Nimba high-grade iron ore deposit.

Simandou Project, Guinea, West Africa

Managed all aspects of RC and diamond pre-feasibility and feasibility resource definition drilling at the Simandou high-grade iron ore deposit, one of the largest untapped iron ore resources in the world.
