Joining Equity full-time in 2013, Chris brought global experience in mineral exploration spanning early- to advanced-stage projects. He has honed a distinctive skillset managing complex resource definition projects, with significant experience in iron ore, VMS and epithermal silver-gold in some very challenging environments.

Chris’ unique experience and dedication to work have earned him the respect of his peers and other industry professionals.

Significant Projects

KZK Project, Yukon, Canada

Co-managed all aspects of this advanced-stage exploration program that included the discovery of an additional 4.2 Mt of high-grade polymetallic VMS mineralization.

homestake ridge project, british Columbia, Canada

Co-managed a multi-faceted program of exploration drilling, geological mapping, soil sampling and IP surveying to help define the different deposit styles on the property. This led to the discovery of a parallel zone of high-grade epithermal Ag mineralization.

Nimba Project, Guinea, West Africa

Managed all aspects of resource definition diamond drilling, including construction of the wireframe geological model, at the Nimba high-grade iron ore deposit.

Simandou Project, Guinea, West Africa

Managed all aspects of RC and diamond pre-feasibility and feasibility resource definition drilling at the Simandou high-grade iron ore deposit, one of the largest untapped iron ore resources in the world.
