Caoimhe first worked at Equity as a core logger on a large base metal project in the Yukon in 2008. Following several years exploring for nickel in northern Quebec, she joined the Equity team full-time as a Project Geologist in 2011. As Project Geologist on exploration campaigns targeting orogenic gold in northern Quebec and copper porphyries in B.C., Caoimhe built a reputation as a natural leader and highly effective manager.

In 2018, Caoimhe moved home to Dublin, Ireland and now manages Equity's European operations.

Significant Projects

detour trend project, quebec

Project management of over 50,000m of exploration drilling, geophysical surveys and geochemical sampling on orogenic Au system along the Sunday/Detour Lake deformation zone in the Abitibi greenstone belt, Quebec.

berg project, british columbia, canada

Managed a 20 person camp, with a resource drill program totaling ~10,700m in the Berg copper-molybdenum-silver Porphry deposit located in west-central British Columbia.

raglan PROJECT, quebec, CANADA

Planned and executed exploration drilling over two seasons in the Nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE magmatic sulphide deposits of the Raglan Trend as part of a larger team. Work included drill management, core logging and geological mapping, data compilation and technical report writing. 

taseko project, british colombia, CANADA

Conducted geological mapping, grab and chip sampling, and core logging, on this copper-gold & copper-molybdenum porphyry, and epithermal-style precious metals vein systems. Work also included logistics and managing the project for several weeks.
